Meet Ellen Heiman

Ellen Heiman is a resident of Hammond, Louisiana and graduated from Albany High School. Ellen’s greatest wish is that she would have found her love of audiology and sign language earlier in life.

Ellen discovered her love for helping people hear after her first music festival and was ecstatic to learn she would be accepted as an audiologist assistant and administrative assistant at a private practice in her hometown of Hammond. Today you will find Ellen at the front desk at SLENT Audiology, coordinating care for patients and helping see patients with the providers as well. She is excited to grow with the amazing team at SLENT Hearing and Balance.

Outside of SLENT, Ellen enjoys music festivals, singing country music, going to her local farmers market, performing in her local theatre group, learning American Sign Language, and radiating positivity to others.
